The number of adverbs in modern Chinese is large, the meaning and usage arecomplicated,and the role is also very important. And adverb is also the difficulty inTeaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. The author has profound understanding ofthis in the year Chinese language teaching in Thailand. The use of the adverb “就”ofThai university students are particularly sensitive to the author. We collected192essay corpus above the level of the HSK four, and then sort out the sentences whichcontain the modern Chinese adverb“就”, We have also collected the corpus of thecorresponding level containing the adverb “就”in the the HSK dynamic compositioncorpus.We combined the two and classify, describe, analyze them. This is the largestpart of the workload in the preparation of this article. Through detailed corpusanalysis and scientific statistical data,we obtained the use of the basic situation andthe error of the basic situation of Thai Students on adverb “就”, and analyse thecauses of errors from the teaching and learning and evaluated the errors, given thetargeted teaching suggestions, and hope to be useful later on Thai Chinese teaching.The paper is divided into six parts:Chapter1,Introduction.Explain the reasons for the selected topic,meaning and scopeof the study,methods, theoretical basis and the research target.Chapter2,the research summarize about “就”. Review the ontology researchsituation on “就” of the Modern Chinese from two angles in the diachronic andsynchronic,sort out the relative simplicity and clarity senses and usage forms aboutmodern Chinese"就", review the study status of Chinese as a Second LanguageAcquisitionas well as the acquisitionof the modernChinese“就”.Chapter3,the use situation observing and cause analysising of modern Chineseadverb "就" of Thai university students. According to the form of chapter2,we sortedand classified the corpora collected, and then get the statistic result of the use of various meanings.Then search for the deep reasons of the use situation.Chapter4,The statistical analysis of errors of Thailand college students to acquirethe modern Chinese adverb “就”. On the basis of previous errors analysis theory, weclassify and describe the collected errors sentences.Chapter5, analyse the reasons of all kinds of errors synthetically and put forwardsome feasible suggestions of teaching.Chapter6, Summing up this paper,put forward the disadvantages and some not yetsolved problems.
