In recent years, as our country’s emphasis on vocational education, the university is no longer taughtthe only way out, more and more parents consider their children to technical schools to learn specializedtechniques. After graduation, these students can become to skilled technicians, play an important role in allareas of society. But there are still some people in society discriminate against students on the technicalschool, because they consider a good student should have a high score. At the same time, most of thetechnical school students from rural areas, they have to face a huge urban and rural life difference. This hasled to some of the technical school students had a sense of inferiority, maladjustment and other issues.Therefore, improving the technical school students in self-acceptance and the level of mental flexibility,thereby enhancing their mental health is very necessary.The study is divided into two parts: the first is a technical school student’s self-acceptance andpsychological flexibility research and explore the relationship between the two; the second part is anintervention which through enhance the level of self-acceptance to enhance their level of psychologicalflexibility. Conclusions are summarized as follows:First of all, self–acceptance research findings indicate that:(1) technical school students in self–acceptance is impacted by gender, profession and grade;(2) self-acceptance of technical school studentshas no significant differences in gender, profession, whether the only child, family income and parentaleducation level.Second, psychological flexible research shows that:(1) psychological flexible of technical schoolstudents is impacted by their grade;(2) psychological flexible of technical school students has nosignificant differences in gender, profession, whether the only child, family income and parental education level.Third, intervention study shows that through group intervention, the self-acceptance level of teammembers has been significantly improved, and the psychological flexibility were significantly increased.The differences of score between before and after the intervention reached a significant level. It indicatesthe study of group intervention is effective.
