With the promotion of the Chinese in Thailand, Chinese education is showing a trend of younger age, more and more Thai kindergarten began offering Chinese courses. An increasing number of Thai kindergartens are providing Chinese course. Thai Kindergarten Chinese education is an emerging topic in the field of early childhood education in Thailand. How the Chinese language education is carried out in Thai kindergartens, what are the recruitment sources of the Chinese language educators and what issues are existing in Chinese Languages courses in Thai kindergartens are the major concerns that is urgently needed to be understood. Therefore, the study on Chinese Language education in Thai kindergartens is of great significance.This study is based on children language acquisition theory-cognitive interaction theory, discourse theory and the concept of language education for pre-school children. The main research methods used in the study are questionnaire, interview, observation, the experience summarizes method.The study mainly concentrates on the survey on:Chinese Language education policy in Thailand, the attitude of parents of kindergarten students, Chinese language teaching and learning environment of the school, kindergarten teachers and teaching material teaching assistant’s situation, early childhood Chinese courses and class schedules, the Chinese classroom teaching, extracurricular Chinese language activities, Chinese language teaching content and teaching methods, the application of several aspects. The survey found following deficiencies in the Chinese language education in Thai kindergartens:first, the number of Chinese language teachers is severely insufficient; lack of suitable textbooks and readings; imperfect facilities, etc. On the other hand, Study also found some the achievements of Chinese Language education in Thai kindergarten: Kindergartens’ management teams and parents hold a positive attitude towards the Chinese language education, prompting concern on Chinese education for children; And to some extent led to the development of Chinese Language Education in Thailand; Chinese language educators use appropriate teaching methods and received positive feedback.The survey results reflect the problems in the Chinese language education in Thailand kindergarten, provide a realistic basis for Chinese education in Thailand kindergarten. Accordingly, this study kindergartens Chinese teaching a four-point measures and suggestions:first, to cultivate a professional high-quality child care teachers of Chinese; second, selected on Thai children of Chinese textbook and reading; third, the teaching methods for young children to reflect the principles of flexibility; fourth, through a variety of ways to provide child care environment of the Chinese acquisition. Through research, we would like to play a role in revelation for the research on teaching methods of Chinese teaching in Thai kindergartens and the trainings for Chinese teaching volunteers.
