Language with the development of the society, with the socialchanges.The emergence of new words reflects social change anddevelopment.Since reforming and opening, Chinese society to reflect thelatest changes and the development of new words and expressions withhitherto unknown speed in large numbers, has aroused people’s concernand attention.Therefore, these new words has gradually become the mainobjects of study in modern chinese.Unfortunately, the whole teachingChinese as a foreign language to reflect the opposite however lag, the lessattention, little research, new words in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage teaching profession has not received due attention.This paper systematically describes the new words in teaching Chineseas a foreign language teaching present situation, through analysis of thecurrent situation, discussed the existing problems in the teaching of newwords, status, role are discussed on the basis of, its application toteaching Chinese as a foreign language to them, trying to find moresuitable for students of new words teaching strategies, teaching principleand the teaching method, hope for the future of the new words andExpressions Teaching and research to provide some help.
