A Study On Wudang Qingwei Denomination

Wudang Qingwei Denomination was a branch of Qingwei Denomination,which founded in the middle of the Yuan Dynasty,then reached its peak, had a certain social influence in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties.It was based on the Wudang Mountains, believed in Emperor Xuantian, attentioned to the alchemy of Qingwei Denomination, absorbed some advantages of other denominations.It was a real denomination with celestial system,refining thought and special alchemy.It will contribute to our understanding of the status of Taoism in Yuan and Ming Dynasties to study on Wudang Qingwei Denomination.At present, there is not any monograph about Wudang Qingwei Denomination in the academic circles at home and abroad, only few papers.In this paper,the author study Wudang Qingwei Denomination fully for the first time.The author pay attention to the whole history,the main representative,books,the celestial system, dao and alchemy,and try to make them clear with the methodologys of Intellectual History,Philology and Social History.The paper has six parts. The first part is introduction, which interpreted the motivation and significance of the topic, reviewed the domestic outcome, stated the methodology and basic line.The second part introduce the whole history with the methodologys of Philology and Social History. The third part introduce the main representative and books, based on literature. The fourth part introduce the celestial system. The fifth part introduce dao and alchemy with the methodologys of Intellectual History and Philology.The last part is conclusion.
