With oriental beauty and profuse the cultural implication, the culture of sealsymbol has widely applied to design field, and enter upon the visual design era of theseal.In World Expo2010Shanghai, each exhibition hall of different countriespropagandize themselves to tourists by seal in various ways of regional elements suchas the national flag, construction, character, animal and plant.The seal for souvenir oftourism reflects the local tourism’s feature, and publicize the local tourism in visualimage through the process of mailing, collection, and exchange by tourists.To promotethe image of Hubei province’ s tourism, the seal of souvenir can be used in tourism ofHubei province which has very low attention in China.The purpose of this paper is to explore the connection between the seal art andideology of tourism. To promote the image of Huibei province’s tourism, put the stresson the publicizing scenery of Chu Culture, extend to Three Kingdoms culture andscenery of Xinhai Revolution with the seal of souvenir.There are two parts in this paper:The first part mainly research how the imagesymbols structure is, base on discussing all the way tourism seal represent.The secondpart shows the design of the hubei tourism scenic spot in chu culture. Using the tourismimage symbols of the construction of seal way as a guide, chu culture as the background,extract the theme of chu culture tourism seal performance elements, to design the seal ofhubei chu culture tourism scenic spot.This paper discusses the origin of the seal of tourism and the background of itsdevelopment. From sorting out and select from the seal image, analysis therepresentation, and then evolve to visual modeling level, the practical function of theseal has been promoted to create the form of beauty, and added a function ofcommunication.The binding of the seal souvenir and tourism culture which is not onlycan turn a physical memory of travel into physical good, but more important is that canintegrate own regional culture into the seal to promote cultural image to tourists.
