In the current background of economic globalization and our country’s rapid development of economy, the small and medium-sized enterprises want to obtain long-term development, must rethink new ways to improve the quality of human resources management. However, depending on the traditional human capital and social capital to improve the benefit of the human resource management has been far from enough. We should start from the view of psychological capital, provide new direction and thought to human resources management.This study selected coastal local small and medium-sized enterprise employees for investigation target, investigated558employees by using the psychological capital of questionnaire to questionnaire survey, analysis the questionnaire of psychological capital reliability and validity, and obtain the difference of their demographic variable on psychological capital, using SPSS analysis the data, and the results are as follows:1. Psychological Capital Questionnaire for small and medium-sized enterprise employees, the scale has good reliability and validity. Scale in each dimension Cronbach’sa coefficient no less than0.6, indicating that the questionnaire results with high reliability and stability; rate of68.131%cumulative variance contribution of the four factors of the psychological capital, basic can better explain overall variable. This psychological capital scale has good construct validity. So the psychological capital questionnaire for the background of our country’s small and medium-sized enterprise staff has the better applicability.2. The differences about small and medium-sized enterprise employees psychological capital in the variable. Gender, the different gender of small and medium-sized enterprises in the hope and toughness of psychological capital are not significantly (Sig value>0.05), there is significantly different in self-efficacy and optimistic.And the male staff on self-efficacy and optimistic level higher than women. Age, the different age paragraph about the employees, in the hope level had significant differences, and all the other there were no significant difference. The age of41years old or above employees have the highest hope level, then respectively is below25,26-30,31-35years old,36-40years old. To marriage, different marital status employees, there were significant differences in the hope level, and the score in this dimension, unmarried employees are higher than married employees. At the same time,different marital status of employees in the self-efficacy, optimistic and toughness three dimensions have no significant difference. In education, data showed that different degree of employees have significant difference in psychological capital all dimensions. The different position of employees’psychological capital dimensions are significantly. Different office term employees in self-efficacy and toughness are significantly different. Different type of work staff in the self-efficacy, hope and toughness are significantly different. Generally speaking, in the demographic variables, such as male,41years old or above, associate degree, unmarried, managers and over11years office term have the highest score.
