Chinese writing is difficult both in learning and in teaching. For students, writing an essay mixed with vocabulary, grammar, chapters, and something like this is the most difficult skill in integrated language skills. It is not easy at all to improve the writing skill. For teachers, the contents of the course cover a wide range, but the time in class is too little and the activities in class are difficult to organize, therefore it is not easy to teach. The Chinese writing teaching aims at helping students to use Chinese knowledge exactly and vividly without the influence of mother tongue. Writhing is a process step by step. To those students abroad who haven’t written in Chinese or seldom have done it, the writing exercise from sentence, paragraph to chapter is extremely necessary no matter in the terms of law of cognition or the rule of students second language acquisition. For students abroad at advanced stage, though they have certain Chinese knowledge, they may make mistakes to finish a whole writing at a stretch. In order to solve the problem, this thesis offers a method named Chinese advanced writing teaching, in which students do writing exercises from sentences to paragraphs and from paragraphs to chapters. It will be helpful for the students to write. The contents of this essay are as follows:Firstly, introduce the reasons and significance of this topic, the object of study and the methods of study.Secondly, according to predecessors’research achievement, this essay makes a brief introduction about a few methods of writing teaching, including product approach, process approach, genre approach, process genre method, and stage teaching method. It also introduces the origin and conceives of Chinese advanced writing teaching, and talks about what is advanced writing teaching.Thirdly, the thesis analyzes the biased errors which students should pay attention to in advanced writing teaching from sentences, paragraphs to chapters, and sets related exercises for these errors. The composition of senior stage students abroad from Hunan Normal University, related information from Beijing Language and Culture University and Jinan University, and the writing class exam papers of Chinese Language and Culture College in Nankai University are the resources of this essay.Finally, this essay devised three hours’lesson plan, and puts the design into practice. Teach Asian students at advanced stage and invite some teachers to attend the lecture, and make records of the reaction of these teachers and students. After the three hours, the instructor makes a teaching reflection about this class, do the research about teaching time and teaching effect evaluation from students, and collect the results and analysis. What’s more, the instructor makes a summary according to the comments and feedbacks of the teachers sitting in on the class. After class, the instructor discusses with the other teachers about the merits and the demerits of the design、problems should be paid attention to in the practice and students’reaction, keeping the good and revising the bad. At the end of the essay, it summaries the problems in advanced writing teaching and the practice, and makes a summary about the shortage or things need to improve.
