| Population aging is the inevitable result of social development, which cannot be evaded by any country and area. Pension has become the problem to which people have paid more and more attention, current domestic papers researching on aged homes are most from demography, sociology, economics and medical disciplines perspective, from the perspective of geography are seldom.This article take elderly population and aged homes in Yanbian area as research object, on the basis of field survey and questionnaire to collect first-hand information and statistics from the Yanbian Statistical Bureau and the Civil Administration Bureau. Study on the elderly population and aged homes distribution characteristics in Yanbian area by using geography, statistics theory and method, combining the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method.As the theoretical foundation, the article discusses the elderly population and aged homes characteristics comprehensively in second chapter, including the elderly population concept, the increase and distribution of the elderly population and influence factors of elderly population distribution, this paper probes into the concept and types of aged homes, based on the review of development process of aged homes in our country to provide a theoretical basis for analyzing the elderly population and aged homes distribution characteristics and pointing out the shortcomings of current aged homes.First, the article analyzes the elderly population distribution and change in Yanbian area, taking the elderly population in Yanbian area in1980,1990,2000,2010as research object, the thesis carries on an detailed analysis to the changes of the elderly population in Yanbian area(the degree of aging changes, changes in growth rate, social and economic impact of changes and urban and rural difference distribution changes), the elderly population distribution changes (the number of the elderly population changes and the elderly coefficient changes in each county and town) and its distribution characteristics, and analyzes its forming reason. Secondly, the article analyzes aged homes distribution characteristics in Yanbian area, which is the focus content of this paper. The article researches the developmental process, current situation and distribution characteristics of the aged homes in Yanbian area, and analyzes the factors affecting its distribution. Then the article analyzes wether the distribution of the aged homes is reasonable and the existing problems combining with the elderly population changes. It can be found from the study that the elderly population and aged homes distribution in Yanbian area are not balanced, The concrete features are that the aged homes in the number, rank and the number of beds are quite different in different counties and cities; at the same time there also some problems existed, the quantity of the aged homes in most counties and cities cannot meet the needs of a large elderly population.Thirdly, analysis on the aged homes using current situation in Yanbian area by selecting different types of aged homes through the actual survey.It shows that occupancy rate of government-run aged homes is higher than that of private-run aged homes in Yanbian area, private-run aged homes have little capital and simple and crude equipments.the number of beds is fewer than50beds. Most workers are graduated from junior middle school or high school, the professional level of service staff needs to be improved. Finally, this paper synthesizes the above research results and puts forward improvements and prospections for aged homes in Yanbian area, the construction must fully consider the factors of the elderly population. |
