A Study On Mental Health Of Remained Women In Rural Areas

China is currently experiencing a rapid transformation of social structure, and it gradually becomes a modern industrial society from a traditional agricultural one. Along with China’s pace of urbanization, the rural young and middle-aged population migration to large cities, the remained women is becoming more and more, their body and mind is withstanding many kinds of life pressure, and the problem of the mental health of the remained women has become an important problem in the sustainable development of China’s economic and society.This research contrast mental health between the remained women and unremained women, discovered the remained women have four aspects difference in the environment adaptiveness, the personality characteristic, the human communication ability as well as the psychological tensity,and all passed the significance examination. Through comparison discovered the mental health of remained women are not well.The mental health condition of remained women mainly influences by four factor:the financial circumstance, the emotion exchange, the family interpersonal relationship as well as the sex life. The research indicated that, the financial circumstance affects the mental health condition of remained women, the remained women who had good financial circumstance have a good mental health condition; the emotion exchange affects the mental health condition of remained women, the remained women who communicates frequently with the husband have a good mental health condition; the family interpersonal relationship affects the mental health condition of remained women, the remained women whose family interpersonal relationship processing good have a good mental health condition; the sex life affects the mental health condition of remained women, the analysis indicated that, the husband egresses for a long time works, between the husbands and wives the sex life opportunity is extremely limited, but the remained women whose sex life is good have a good mental health condition.This research discovery, the support of remained women mainly by society unofficial support programs:the family, relative, friends, neighbors and so on. Society official support programs:national policy law, community, social group and so on, nearly have not appear to the support of remained women. Therefore, in order to improve the mental health of remained women,this research from four angles:government supports, the community supports, the association supports and family member supports to construct their social support network.
