A Study On The Canal Cultural Heritage Protection And Landscape Image Design In Hangzhou

Under the background of The city characteristic culture protection and city image building and also the city brand building, the city cultural heritage protection has become the important strategy for city development. The city of Hangzhou had launched a series of canal comprehensive harnessing projects and had achieved certain results. Since the year of2003, The Canal Comprehensive Harnessing Project of Hangzhou has achieved certain Achievements. How to make the city cultural heritage get more extensive and effective protection and how to combine the protection of cultural heritage and the fast development of city construction to achieve the Inheritance of historical culture and modern city landscape image enhancing win-win is what this thesis try to Explore.This thesis study on the Grand Canal of Hangzhou as the research theme. On the base of the theoretical research and the current situation survey, and combined with Hangzhou local characteristics and city development strategy needs, this thesis put forward two proposals of development strategies for the protection of cultural heritage and landscape image design, Respectively the heritage area construction and landscape image system construction, which make active guidance for the Canal Heritage Protection and landscape image promotion.
