As one of the characteristic structures in Chinese, Sentences predicated by a subject-predicate phrase is always the focus of the attention among the field of Chinese linguistics, also one of the difficulty points among the second language learners. Although the researches in the sentence pattern have been rather abundant, few study on bias error and acquisition order.According to semantic structure, this dissertation first analyze the types of sentences predicated by a subject-predicate phrase. Then on the basis of the results about comparison between Chinese and English, Chinese and Filipino, we divide six categories of this sentence pattern.Secondly, the dissertation systematically investigate the acquisition characteristic of the Philippine-Chinese teenager through their composition. We find bias errors and explain the reasons for these errors by analyzing the wrong examples. We acquire the acquisition order of this sentence patterns by analyzing the correct examples. On this context, we use the questionnaire method to further inspect the acquisition grade.Finally, the paper make the proposal that how to effectively teach sentences predicated by a subject-predicate phrase on the basis of analyzing the error situation, acquisition characteristic and order.
