Hanban (The Office of Chinese Language Council International) sent more than1200volunteers (Volunteer Chinese Teachers) to Thailand in2011. Now more and more Thai people want to study Chinese. This survey aimed at Chinese language teaching in Supanburi Thailand. This survey took the investigation ways of questionnaire and interview. The qualitative information was collected from Chinese teachers, volunteers, English teachers, foreign teachers and more than500students, who study Chinese now of the12schools in Supanburi Thailand.With the teaching experiences the researcher carried out the investigation to obtain the true information of Chinese language teaching in Supanburi Thailand. Thailand Ministry of Education do not issue the standard teaching program, do not have standard Chinese teaching material. According to the actual the Chinese teachers choose the teaching material and content of course, it can’t guarantee the scientificalness of the teaching content. The Chinese teachers also have the problems in course, for example, language barrier, little experience etc. Although most of the schools support for teaching Chinese, but there aren’t the event about popularize Chinese except everyday teaching in many schools. In addition, there are some problems in the popularize Chinese events which hold by the local confucius institute. Aim at the questions from the survey,the researcher figure out some suggests and ideas from the views of Hanban, the local confucius institute, the inland universities which educate the MTDSOL and the students that major teaching Chinese as a foreign language and Chinese teachers. The thesis consists of the6parts:Chapter I is Preface. It presents the reason for choosing the topic, summary of the document, field of investigation and survey methods etc.Chapter Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ, Chinese intern, volunteers, English teachers, foreign teachers and more than500students, who study Chinese now of the12schools as object, by questionnaire survey, present the foreign language teaching status in Supanburi,Thailand. It includes basic information of individual, teaching situation, the attitudes the trend of the languages in the future and the attitudes of students about studying Chinese, understanding about Chinese culture etc. The researcher point out the problems in teaching Chinese in Supanburi, especially the teachers in teaching for short-term.Chapter Ⅴ and Ⅵ, conclusion. It summarizes all the problems in schools of Supanburi, it includes teaching program, teaching material, the training for Chinese teachers, material about Chinese culture, etc. The researcher put forward suggestions for the Chinese teaching in Supanburi.
