Along with the continuous expansion of Chinese language popularization in the world, there are more and more primary student in different countries around the world who are starting to learn Chinese. However, Primary student's Chinese language teaching has been regarded as an important part of the whole world of Chinese language teaching. Research has been lagging behind in both theory and practice.Chinese language teaching in Thailand has rapidly developed in recent years, especially in primary and secondary schools. Many schools have begun to establish Chinese courses. Yet, due to being influenced by the traditional Chinese teaching models of pedagogy, research has not kept up to pace. Therefore, Thailand's Chinese classroom activities problems still continue to exist.Existing classroom activities research need to be addressed more analytically. First of all, there needs to be more discussion regarding the importance and the role of the classroom activities, and then more discussion around the planning principles of classroom activities, as well as common types of activities. Second, the author, through classroom observation, questionnaire survey and experiment, has conducted that analyzing and summarizing the main problems existing of Thai primary student's Chinese classroom activities, and has put forward the corresponding solutions. Specifically, the paper is divided into five parts as follows:The first part describes the research meaning, which summarizes the overview of previous Chinese classroom activities, research field, and expounds the content and method of this research. The second part is the elaboration around the related theories of the foreign language classroom activities. This includes the role of classroom activities in teaching Chinese language to primary student. Then there is the planning principle of classroom activities as well as the type of classroom activities. The third part is the inspection of classroom activities of Chinese language teaching for Thai primary student. This part includes the classroom observation part and the questionnaires part. Making the analysis direct against the conclusion of the inspection, then put forward deficiencies and suggestions. The fourth section sets out designing the procedures and methods of activities in a concrete classroom and demonstrates the example that the author has used for Classroom activities in "Experiencing Chinese" textbook (primary school volume1), chapter:"It's two o'clock" and "bird wings", and put forward the teaching effectiveness assessment of classroom activities above at the same time. The fifth part is a summary of comments on this article.By the research of classroom activities used in teaching Chinese language for Thai primary student, I believe that classroom activities can be applied on teaching links, such as old lessons reviewing and language practicing etc.. Effective classroom activities could help students build focus attention, thought-provoke them, and help them to further understand the learning content. Besides, as a student-loved teaching method, classroom activities can stimulate their interest in learning, and help them overcome the fear of hardship in learning Chinese. Furthermore, it can enable them to learn better, and make them happier in encouraging them to frequently use Chinese outside of the classroom. Furthermore, if you want to achieve better activities results, teachers should rationally organize and pay attention to activity content, activity patterns, activity frequency and rhythm when they design classroom activities, which will in turn maximize the advantages of classroom activities. In this study, through theoretical and practical observation and experiment on several levels, we found that classroom activities are a very favorable means of teaching Chinese for Thai primary school students, and are very welcomed as well by the students. Therefore, we also hope that this research can help Thai Chinese language teachers in effectively using and designing better classroom activities in the future. This will in turn help meet the students learning needs and improve their level of Chinese. This research will carry on in helping language teaching for Thai primary student in the future.
