Achieving self-identity is the main social development task of middle school students’ psychology. Therefore, this phase became the important stage for students’ personality formation and individual self-conscious development. Self-conscious emotion is a senior emotion based on self-evaluation. It can regulate individual’s consciousness and behavior. Research of middle school students’ self-conscious emotion developmental features can contribute to the understanding of students’ physical and mental developmental characteristics, guide them to develop good habits, cultivate positive personality. At the same time, self-conscious emotion will affect the self-cognition, positive self-cognition can induce psychology well-being experience, may also influence self-acceptance behavior which is built on the basis of self-cognition. To explore the possible mediating effect of psychology well-being between the self-conscious emotion and the self-acceptance,1434middle school students from junior grade one to senior grade three were investigated by Chinese TOSCA-A, Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (SAQ) and psychological well-being questionnaire. The study analyzed middle school students’ self-conscious emotion development characteristics and the relationship among self-conscious emotion, self-acceptance and psychology well-being. The results showed:(1) Chinese TOSCA-A has a good reliability and validity.(2) Students’shame, guilt and authentic pride score had a gender difference, and the girls’score is higher than the boy students’(3) Students’self-conscious emotion existed grade differences. The shame score of junior grade one is higher than the other grades’, the guilt score of senior grade one is higher than the other grades, the hubris pride score of junior grade one and two are significantly lower than the other grades; junior grade one’s authentic pride score is significantly lower than other grade’(4) Psychology well-being plays a partly mediator role between shame, hubris pride and self-acceptance, and plays a fully mediator role between guilt, authentic pride and self-acceptance.
