With the development of modern enterprises, the awareness of corporate identity has been a qualitative leap, thus, making the brand design of the modern enterprises have developed rapidly from a single commercial activities extended to today’s multiple areas, such as various types of large-scale cultural and sports events, Olympic Games, fairs, ceremonies, etc., identified the role and influence is far not comparable, the mascot as an auxiliary of the most dynamic elements of corporate identity system, its distinctive expression, has not only is the shape of a visual language, and more importantly, it can reflect characteristics of the times, business philosophy, personality, ideas and industry characteristics, and can give the enterprise personified the spiritual connotation.Although the mascot of the importance of design has been the concern of the domestic design community, but its design quality is variable, fresh influential far-reaching designs, so the material on, creative approach on the mindset, the one-sidedness. in this state, in certain mascot design was drawn to a single, complicated shapes, creativity is weak, the lack of specifications and other potential problems.The research of this subject will focus on the mascot for the carrier’s brand value of the creative design research, to explore the problems and shortcomings of the mascot design, mascot design innovation and explained from the shape, function, technology and other aspects of the brand mascot, through the interpretation of the contemporary success stories, lessons, creative approach, the domestic brand mascot design and how to make it more international at the same time highlight the ethnic characteristics of exploration and research, and mascot of the future development trend interpretation and outlook.
