The fundamental purpose of TCSL is to help learners develop the oral communicative ability of using Chinese. Some new problems, such as the absence of characteristics of natural conversations in textbooks, are researching in oral communication training. The characteristics are often discourse markers in the turn-taking of conversations that can begin turns, take turns, keep turns, get turns, or end turns. Discourse markers play a significant role in cohesion of discourses, producing abundant meanings and interpreting the speaker’s intention and styles.Starting with the study of discourse markers in textbooks, this paper will attach major importance to the beginning, keeping, ending of conversations and discuss the significance and application of discourse markers, and it will be conducted in the following sections:The first part will make an introduction, introducing the purpose and significance, the object, theoretical background, key points and difficulties. The second part introduces the present situation of the discourse analysis and discourse markers. Chapter three analyzes the Concept and Characteristics of Discourse Markers. Chapter four will investigate the discourse markers in textbooks and analyze relevant factors through the collection, classification and rearrangement and provide some relevant Measures and Strategy for the discourse markers On the Editing and optimizing teaching materials Chapter five discuss Measures and Strategy on learning and teaching discourse markers in TCSL through Questionnaire Survey on the Use of Discourse Markers of Foreign Students and Attitudes of the Teachers Towards Discourse Markers. The last part is the concluding section, summarize the main points of this article and follow-up study.Through investigation and research, this paper holds the view that the collection, notes and interpretation of discourse markers were absent in oral Chinese textbooks for foreign learners in a certain degree. Some teachers who teach Chinese as a foreign language meet discourse markers while teaching with a mind of avoidance and avoidance behavior. Foreign Learners of Chinese are in the worrying situation of learning and using in terms of both quantity and frequency and they are learning and speaking with a mind of avoidance. This study suggests that teaching material compiling should include discourse markers that are frequently used in conversations and turn-takings, and the corresponding notes and exercises are given respectively. In oral-teaching in the medium stage of international students teaching, regard shall be had to turn-taking rules and conversation cohesion, as well as the research on the turn-taking abilities of foreign learners of Chinese. Learners should be encouraged to correctly understand and use discourse markers in communications to know well context and pragmatic connotation of discourse markers.
