Following the development of China’s economy and rising international status more and more foreign students come to learn medical in Chinese. Medical Chinese instruction is the fundamental element of the education for medical-majored foreign students, which for them is also an important tool of medical study and living in China. Studies to medical Chinese courses show that medical Chinese teaching mode is worth to discuss. This paper introduces the related theory of1920’task-based teaching, analyzes the medical Chinese instruction to preppy students in China, and forms a teaching design with reference value.This article is composed of two parts:main text and conclusion, including five chapters.The first chapter is the review of related researches, which mainly introduces the significance of topic selecting, research review, research content and research methodology. The review consists of four parts:the related researches of task-based-teaching method abroad, application of task-based-teaching method in domestic English teaching, application of task-based-teaching method in Chinese-as-foreign-language teaching, and related researches of medical Chinese courses.The second chapter is Medical Chinese Instruction of Task-based-teaching Method and Specific Chinese. Its first part introduces the definition and classification of tasks and the main features and implementation steps of task teaching method, which lays a theoretical foundation for later researches. Its second part elaborates the definition of specific Chinese, discusses the characteristics of medical Chinese instruction and the current problems in teaching, and finally analyses the practicability of task-based teaching method in medical Chinese teaching.The third chapter is the overall teaching design of task-based-teaching method in medical Chinese courses. It is the primary analysis of teaching object, teaching objectives; and the teaching task design, which considers the classification of medical students in hospital practice, and chooses suitable teaching contents for preparatory students from selected teaching material.Chapter four, Examples for Combining-task Teaching Design of Medical Chinese Courses to Foreign Students in China, choosing representative content from the selected teaching materials, carries on the teaching design with task-based teaching method.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
