Multi-dimensional Perspective Of The Study Of New Words

New words are the most active elements in the social language development, andadapt to various areas of social life. These new words have greatly enriched themodern Chinese vocabulary system, and vividly recorded the bit changes of people’slives. The study of new words is a progressive and constantly updated areas, whichshould arouse enough attention.This paper selects the new terms from2006to2010as the research objects.Through using the static description methods，recording and analyzing the source ofthese new words, we investigate the new words formation and its characteristics, etc.Also, we research and analyze the social changes presented from these new words andthe new member of the new words family—the media terms from the view oflanguage dynamic development. We analyze and elaborate the features，types andcharacteristics of the media words in details. At the same time, we put forward ouropinions to the composition conditions and development forecasts and the existingproblems of these media words. In this paper, we use data statistics methods toscientifically analyze the growth conditions and word formation of these media words.This method not only avoid the situation of paying much attention to the wordanalysis but lacking data supporting to language study, but also provide the guaranteeto carry out the subject and draw the relevant research findings.
