A Study On The Kuomintang Government’s Military Comfort Policies To Soldieries And Their Families During The Anti-Japanese War

Based on the relevant historical data and files I have selected at present, this paper makes a deep and systematical analyzes of the Kuomintang Government military comfort Policy during the Anti-Japanese War, seek to reduce the impact of emotional factors on the scientific nature of historical research, objectively give the Kuomintang Government’s comfort and compensate policy a detailed presentation and evaluation. Sichuan as the rear area of the war, it made a great contribution the victory of the war in the eight years, the Sichuan army casualties was about a fifth of the country’s anti-Japanese armed forces. Moreover, Sichuan was the main sources of soldiers, as well as a security shield of military and political institutions, in the Anti-Japanese War Sichuan region was the undisputed center. Chapter I described the Kuomintang Government military comfort policy promulgation and implementation during the special historical background and its necessary in the Anti-Japanese War; the second and third chapters describe the institutions of military service policy and regulations’ promulgation and implementation; on the basis of the front chapters, the fourth chapter use the method of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, objectively evaluate the historical significance of the military service, also point out the inadequacies and the resulting reasons.
