The relation of emotion and cognization is an important research topic at home andabroad.Somebody has researched emotion affect consciousness,momery,attention,creativethinking,emotion regulation strategies affect decision-making, emotion and emotionregulation strategies affect momery,attention.But nobody has researched emotion andemotional regulation strategies affect different abstract level of thinking(includeoperational thinking,image thinking and logical thinking).That this research study thisnot only will abundent emotion and emotional regulation straegies affectcognization,but also help people make operational thinking,image thinking and logicalthinking better.In order to see whether different emotion affect thinkingdifferently,this research carried out six experiment.Experiment one-a, Experimentone-b and Experiment one-c researched whether emotion affect operationalthinking,image thinking and logical thinking differently. Experiment two-a,Experiment two-b and Experiment two-c researched whether emotional regulationstrategies affect operational thinking,image thinking and logical thinkingdifferently.The result indicated that: emotion affect operational thinking,imagethinking and logical thinking differently.When individuals’ emotion was neutral, theiroperational thinking,image thinking and logical thinking was best.The negativeemotional group’s operational thinking and logical thinking was significantly betterthan the positive emotional group’s operational thinking and logical thinking.Therewasn’t significantly difference of the effect of positive and negative emotion on imagethinking. Emotional regulation strategies affect operational thinking,image thinkingand logical thinking differently. In the task of operational thinking, image thinkingand logical thinking, individuals using cognitive reappraisal strategy performedsignificantly better than individuals using expression suppression strategy.
