Legal English is a style of English used in the legislative and judicialactivities. As a kind of English for specific purpose, legal English differs from generalEnglish and has its particular features. All the examples analyzed in the article are takenfrom the translation of Economic Analysis Of Contract Law (Chapters13)(by StevenShavell) done by the author. This paper analyses the legal English and its LinguisticFeatures.
