“Hao” is a word frequently used in Modern Chinese and the usage is also quitecomplicated. For many decades, grammar scholars have a lot of results in the researchaspects of the meaning, part of speech, language features and usage of “good” in Chinese.However, there are not many studies specializing the comparison of “good”, in particular,regarding to the correspondence form of the Vietnamese “good” has not been researchedyet. Therefore, Vietnamese learners in learning “good” often encounter inclined inference.In the process of learning Chinese and Vietnamese language translation, often incapable ofbeing accurately grasp.On the basis of former and great scholars’ research, this paper passes through the partof speech, syntactic function as well as some relevant structure of “good”. Vietnamesetranslation comparative analysis tries to find out the regular patterns and methods.The innovation of this paper is: the overall systematic representation of the meaning,grammar function and grammar characteristics of “good” as well as the Vietnamesecorresponding form. Thereby, to provide help the people who are learning Chinese andVietnamese.
