A Study On Characteristics Of College Students’ Works With Troublesome Career Beliefs And Case Study

Troublesome career belief is a group of comprehensive hypothesis about oneself and future development of one’s work environment.These assumption can affect individual behaviour about career choice.Sandplay Therapy is a kind of psychotherapy which consultant provide free and protected space and visitor freely put toys in a sand-box for arousing self-healing of visitor.The purpose of this study was to identify sandplay works of those college students who had troublesome career belief and whether Sandplay Therapy can reduce troublesome career belief effectively.Therefor,there are two steps:Firstly,according to the principle of voluntary by Career Belief Scale which Zeng Weixi compiled,pick up30college students with low score and30college students with high score.They all made sandplay woks named "career desire",then obtain characteristic of sandplay works that students who have troublesome career beliefs made.Secondly,three students from high score group are treated by sandplay therapy.Conclusions:(1)There are significant differences about self-image between college students who have troublesome career beliefs and who have not.(2)There are significant differences about the harmony of the sandplay works in two groups.(3)There are not significant differences about time that they made products between the high score group and low score group.(4)There are not significant differences about the number of toys in two groups.(5)There are not significant differences about whether moving sand or not in two groups.(6)According to comments from other people and score of questionnaire,sandplay therapy can reduce troublesome career beliefs efficiently.
