In recent years,the rapid expansion of the scale of enrollment of higher education institutions,compared with ordinary colleges,higher vocational college students’ mental health research on less,suitable for Higher Vocational College Students’ psychological intervention mode on the prevention ofpotential problems has important significance.In this study,vocational college freshmen’s psychological health status and adaptation as thestarting point,using the group counseling theory and techniques,on the mental health of collegestudents and its adaptability for intervention,through the experimental group and the control groupcomparison,in-depth study of group counseling on college students psychological adaptability andeffect of group psychological guidance;the theme of interpersonal communication,anxiety,selfconsciousness and other aspects of psychological problems and learning methods,independent living,occupation goals and other aspects of the adaptation problems of Freshmen in higher vocationalcolleges,so as to explore the psychological health and adaptive intervention effective method and form.The research is based on the computer application specialty of Qinghai Communications TechnicalCollege two freshman class as the research object,respectively,as the experimental group and thecontrol group,the experimental group of class group counseling intervention,the control group withoutany treatment;through intervention study,exploration of class group counseling on college studentsmental health,adaptation and class construction in terms of the influence of. On two groups of studentsusing symptom checklist (SCL-90),the University Freshmen’s adaptation to scale (FARS),classroom climate scale,self adaptation self assessment questionnaire pre-test. From newborn to thebeginning of the sixth week,the experimental class6class group counseling intervention,interventionafter one week,in the experimental group and the control group applied again to the scale and aquestionnaire were tested.The experiment results show that the class of University Freshmen’sadaptation to the scale,classroom climate scale,self adaptation self evaluate posttest score than thecontrol class has significantly improved,at the same time,the experimental class of SCL-90,University Freshmen’s adaptation to the scale and the class atmosphere scores were significantly betterthan before. The results also show that,of class group counseling can improve class atmosphere,enhance the cohesion of the class.Class group counseling is helpful for university freshmen mental health,the ability to adapt andclass construction in the new education,worthy of promotion.
