A Translation Report On Several Excerpts From The Economist

As a commonly used genre in modern English, journalistic English is generallyfeatured by its real-time character, its amusing effect as well as its conciseness. In addition, these excerpts contain typical economicpolicies as well as social phenomena in Asian and European countries, from which thegeneral readership can not only acquaint themselves with the current events at homeand abroad, but also can gain some experience and draw certain lessons.
