People usually think that quasiaffix is the intermediate state of the evolution from theroot to affix. This article bases on the study on the related domestic literature, on thebasis of meaning completely blur, supplemented by adhesion, orientation and so on asthe standard, making a distinction between the affix and quasiaffix in the modernChinese, and doing a detailed research on the characters and scope of the quasiaffixes.Study on the new quasiaffix is the focus of this article. We sorting out69quasiaffixes,including35new quasiaffixes, through the studies on the new-born attached composetype words from2003to2012. These new quasiaffixes are bei、luo、 shan、 wei、leng、ying、 qian、ke、 you、 dang、 jun、 kong、piao、 ling、 nu、tuo、di、erdai、 nan、nv、 jie、 mei、 ge、 sao、 ba、 fen、 fan、ti、 zheng、chaoshi、 men、ba、xiu、 di. Except the partly semantic falsified、orientation、adhesion and productivity, these new born quasiaffixes have some new characters,including: compared with the typical quasiaffixes, the semantics of the newquasiaffixes are more real; those quasiaffixes which represent people are in themajority; On the syllable structure, new quasiaffixes are trade up of mainly a singlesyllable; three-syllable words have the upper hand in the terms of word formation.Both internal factors and external factors make the new quasiaffixes come in to being,internal factors are the development of society、language contact and the uniquemodels of communication; The internal factors are metaphor analogy mechanism、economic mechanism、variation mechanism and the parataxis character of Chinese.There are three development trends for the quasiaffix, they are developing intotypical affixes、stabillization on quasiaffix stage、returning to the roots.
