In addition to Chinese language teaching in the United States, many Chinese training courses offered by America in China also have adopted Middlebury mode. For example, Princeton in Beijing and ACC.Based on the impact of Middlebury’s Summer Language Schools and Middlebury mode, more and more Chinese training courses have emerged. By introducing Middlebury’s Summer Language Schools and Middlebury mode as well as Princeton in Beijing, summer up their school conditions and characteristics. What’s more, take the second grade class of PiB for example, introduce the entire teaching process, summarize the characteristics and the considerations of practicing, identify the linguistic rules and the deficiencies of Middlebury mode. At last, give some suggestions in order to provide a reference for the domestic Chinese language teaching.
