As economic globalization accelerates,the communications of people from different cultural backgrounds become more and more frequent.At the same time,with the rapid economic development,China is playing an increasingly important role on the world stage.China's language and culture,attracting more and more foreigners,so the number of foreign students is increasing.Therefore,the study on the adaptation of foreign students in cross-culture is particularly important.Taking the oversea students from Indonesia and Korea Anhui University as examples,by giving questionnaire and face-to-face interviews to them to do research about their life adaptation,interpersonal communication,cultural psychology and teaching.And the method of contrast comparison is used,the relevant suggestion and solutions are given to them.During the process of discussion,it will be divided into the following five parts,attention is paid to its background,meaning and research method about this paper at first.In terms of the research background,China's rapid economic growth,rising international status,"Chinese hot" become popular quickly.Anhui University,a key university in China,setting up the platform to exchanges and cooperation between more colleges and universities of South Korea,Indonesia,these provides data support to cross-cultural research.Even if the two countries belong to "Chinese culture",there is some friction during the process of actual communication.About the research significance,two aspects will be discussed:1.The theoretical significance:through the contrast research in cross-cultural adaptation to oversea students from Indonesia and South Korea,to provide a new empirical in this field.2.The practical significance:on the one hand,to help oversea students have a better adaption in studying and living in China,on the other hand,to help Chinese colleges and universities improve their management about oversea students.Finally,literature research,questionnaire survey method,interview method are used in this paper.The second part,specific analysis of the current research status of domestic and foreign scholars will be given on this issue through the research about the development of cross-cultural adaptation.Above all in terms of its development,it mainly will be divided into three stages:the first stage,pay attention to the mental health problems of immigrants;the second stage,do research to the pressure source of immigrants;the third stage,do research to intercultural adaptation of the oversea students.Then,in terms of research reviews,foreign researchers mainly give definition on cross-cultural adaptation and put forward a series of theoretical hypothesis;about domestic researchers,they mainly perfect theory about cross-cultural adaptation.At last,for the culture of China,South Korea and Indonesia,are analyzed,through the analysis of the three countries in the concept of time,space,group type,culture type.Comparing the similarities and differences among China,South Korea and Indonesia.About the third part,using SPSS investigation to do data statistics and analysis to the students of the two countries in the aspects of their basic information,life adaptation,interpersonal communication,cultural identity,and the teaching situation.About the fourth part,to put forward the corresponding suggestions and comments to how to deal with cross-cultural adaption.Mainly includes three aspects:at first,do enough preparation before coming to China and have a positive attitude to adapt the target language and cultural life of China.then,about teaching,there are some requirements about teachers,they should own both cultural awareness,pay attention to teaching materials' diversification,to choose flexible teaching way according to the course content.when it comes to talking about schools' management about oversea students,there are three aspects should be stressed,at first,equal emphasis given to service and management.Then to keep balance about humanistic care and institutional constraint.At last,to build a good communication platform.The fifth part is evaluation and summarization.
