The paper is based on modern Chinese and teaching of Chinese as aforeign language, under the instruction of language teaching theory andsecond language acquisition theory, and make a full description andinterpretation for structure characteristics of the existential sentences.According to surveys and interviews among the Mongolia students,summarize types of the errors, analyze the reasons of errors andinvestigate selection and scheduling the in teaching material, in theend,design the teaching strategies.The article is divided into four parts: introduction; the overviewresearch of existential sentences; error analysis; teaching strategies ofexistential sentences.The introduction is mainly about the motivation of the topic,research area and methods and theoretical basis.In the overview research of existential sentences, first of all, reviewthe research achievements and current situations of teaching and researchin Chinese as a foreign language in the past; secondly, based on theliterature revie in the study of existential sentences realize characteristicsof the existence sentences again, and according to the different verbs, dothe analysis of subordinate sentence patterns of existence sentences.In acquisition mistakes research, Inner Mongolia Normal University College of international exchange students each year from Mongolia areresearch objects, by the methods of questionnaire, interviews and othererror investigation. Analyzing the results of the survey,the types of errorscan be divided into four kinds, reduce omission, misuse, redundancy andfault sequence.reasons of error can be summarized: negative transfer ofmother tongue, false analogy and evasive difficulties.In the part of teaching Strategies,"the higher education of foreignstudents’ Chinese Teaching Syllabus"(long-term learning) and thetextbook" Developing Chinese" used by Mongolia students in Chinaexistence selection and arrangement of sentence grammar, analysis theselection and ordering of grammar project, according to outline andteaching material,discusse respectively teaching Strategies and accordingto students’ level and the types of errors, design countermeasures ofteaching. Point out teaching method application of the contrast teachingmethod, random teaching method and strengthen teaching method.The paper makes full use of contrastive analysis, error analysis,interlanguage theory, the theory of inner outline of theory and theacquisition order theory, which focus on the existential ontology research,emphasize the teaching context of the existence sentence grammar,adhere to the combination principle and method between the ontologytheory and teaching theory, at the same time, learn from the static anddynamic study and current research, put forward some own opinions. The topic of the article and the writing help to deepen the understanding ofChinese existence sentences,and is helpful in guiding people ’s language,improve language teaching of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,especially have a certain value in the Chinese teaching to the foreignstudents from Mongolia.
