Eternal Beauty Of Order And Form In Design Geometry

Beauty, is a kind of psychological aspiration of human lives. In the western aestheticshistory, the Pythagoreans from ancient Greece found the aesthetic theorem of ratio in"mathematical form", thus generated the idea of "beauty is the harmony and proportion".Abstractionism used golden section and simple color changes to achieve a high harmony andunity, which made them become popular in visual arts in the early20th century. Today, thetheory and rule of "Form" proposed by scholars and artists from ancient Greece have beenregarded as a category in order aesthetics, and becomes the theoretical basis of modern design,playing an important role in composition."Order" is widely used, which precisely reflects thepluralistic character in modern design.In this paper, we will begin with the concept of "order aesthetics", to reveal the especialposition of "order" and "form" from the beauty of order and golden section in the nature; andthen analyse its implementation in design, finally, combining the understanding of the"golden ratio" and visual formula of Gestalt psychology, we will explore the performance of"order aesthetics" in modern design. This paper adopts the exemplification method, citing anumber of pictures and texts from multiple perspective-traditional aesthetics, moderngraphic design, industry architecture, multimedia, etc., to demonstrate its impact on moderndesign. Also, we try to summarise a rule for "form aesthetics" through the research of modernvisual design and digital multimedia. Finally, combining the form rule and visual sensory, wewill analyze the reflection of "order" in modern technology, to prove its eternal beauty.With the technology development and progress of the times, people’s visual and sensoryrequirements are getting more and more. The successful use of beautiful shapes and colorslies in its functinal design based on the new, unique sense of form, as well as combined fonts,colors, space, proportion and other factors. The construction of form can not only convey abetter idea accurately from the designer to the public, but also become a trend increasingly indesign areas. Form aesthetics plays a important role in the field of graphic design, moderntechnology and lifestyle, and this strong momentum continues, it will also become more andmore important in the future design and lifestyle. From the2008’ Summer Olympic Games inBeijing, we can see a great improvement in China modern design and digital design. We shallcatch up with the development footsteps as soon as possible to improve our design level tofulfill the aspiration of aesthetics from modern society and human being.
