Chinese education in Secondary College develops fast in Australia with theconsiderable support from the government. On one hand, Chinese is more and morepopular and becomes the new curriculum in schools. On the other hand, with the rapiddevelopment, the problems in Chinese classroom also gradually emerge. Because ofthe difference of the culture of China and Australia, there are many Chinese teachersmet difficulties with Chinese teaching. As a Chinese volunteer in Victoria state forone year, the author conducted a study of Chinese classroom management inAustralian secondary college and make an analysis on the Chinese classroommanagement problems and the causes. Then based on domestic and overseas researchon classroom management theory and experience, the author puts forward reasonablesuggestions for the Chinese classroom management in Australian secondary colleges.The paper is divided into six parts. The first chapter, introduces the origin, theresearch goal and the significance, as well as the research mentality and the method.The second chapter introduces the related concept of classroom management. Thethird chapter elaborates the particularity of Chinese classroom management inAustralian secondary college by comparing to with the Chinese middle schoolclassroom and Australia secondary school classroom as well as the domestic foreignlanguage classroom. The fourth chapter summarizes the current situation of Chineseclassroom management in Australian secondary and analyzes the problems and thecauses. The fifth chapter, illustrate the effectiveness of strategies for Chineseclassroom management in Australia secondary college. The sixth chapter is theconclusion.
