Contrastive linguistics has became an independent subject since1950, it is an important independent branch of linguistics. Chinese is a isolating language, Russian is a fusional language, and they belong to different language families. Imperative sentence is a very important sentence category in Chinese and Russian. Chinese Imperative sentence and Russian imperative sentence all have their own characteristics in syntactic structure, semantics and pragmatics.Based on comprehensive observations of Chinese and Russian imperative sentences, this paper analyses similarities and differences between Chinese and Russian imperative sentences in syntax, semantics and pragmatics, I hope that,these studies provide a little help for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is divided into five chapters:ChapterⅠis the introduction, mainly introduces this paper’s research purpose, research methods and research status, Chinese imperative sentences,Russian imperative sentences and comparison’ research status are included.Chapter Ⅱ summarizes the definition of the imperative sentence and classifies Chinese and Russian imperative sentence according to pragmatic function and syntactic form.Chapter Ⅲ discusses the syntactic and semantic feature of the subject and predicate of Chinese Imperative sentence, the syntactic feature of the subject and predicate of Russian Imperative sentence. And compares intonation and modal particle.Chapter Ⅳ compare Chinese and Russian imperative sentence on the aspect of pragmatic function. Chapter Ⅴ summarizes the whole paper...
