A Study On Tongue Twisters’ Application In The Short-term Primary Students’ Classroom

This essay focus on those primary short-term students who study Chinese as a foreign language, so every methods or principle is specially designed for them.Tongue twister is a unique form of literature in china. It puts the similar pinyin pronunciation together, which can efficiently help students improve their pinyin learning. Tongue twister is very short, brief and colloquial. All those features are suitable for primary short-term students. Using Tongue twister in class is different from the other teaching methods. It is interesting and can attract students’attention so it is very efficient.Based on the others’previous result and the teaching experience of her own, the writer made an questionnaire to Florida International University’s students to demonstrate the feasibility of the use of the tongue twister in class and the effect in helping students. Then the writer made a conclusion of the principles and teaching methods for teaching Tongue twister.
