There are four forms of Zaishuo(再说) in Mandarin Chinese, namely verbalphrase Zaishuo1(再说1),verb Zaishuo2(再说2), auxiliary word Zaishuo3(再说3)and conjunctive Zaishuo4(再说4). So far, although scholars has much researchon Zaishuo(再说) in ontological study, due to the principles of lexicography and thescholars on the syntax of the division of property are different, it leads to causeproblems to learners easily, and is not conducive to the second languagelearning. There almost have no the research that combine the second languageteaching with ontological study, while most of them are studied from lexicalizationand grammaticalization perspective. On the other hand, In the second languagelearners’ writing and oral, the usage and error rates on Zaishuo(再说) are very high. Inorder to make them a better acquisition on Zaishuo(再说), this paper is divided intosix chapters, and investigats and analyses it from the perspective of syntax, textualfunction, lexicalizatihon and grammaticalization, the generation of its discoursemarker function and error analysis.The first chapter is introduction. This chapter comprehensively expounds thecause and significance of the topic, survey of research on ontology and theperspective of second language acquisition, features and innovations and a descriptionof sources of corpora and symbols.The second chapter is divided into three parts to study the syntactic features ofZaishuo(再说). The first part studies on its grammatical properties. The second partshows differences of the four Zaishuo(再说) through the investigation on syntacticand semantic features one by one: the verb phrase Zaishuo1(再说1) is just a linearsequence of adjacent two morphemes; the verb Zaishuo2(再说2) has been abstractionand generalization on semantic, and cannot be deleted as the core predicate; auxiliaryZaishuo3(再说3) in conjunction predicate structure, basically the equivalent of amodal particle, can be deleted and the basic semantic sentence unchanged; theconjunction Zaishuo4(再说4) has progressive role and says that append an additionallayer of reason out of the existing reason. Although deletion does not affect thesentence semantic expression, the sentence coherence is slightly affected. Here,Zaishuo4(再说4) has been have a tendency to the evolution of discourse markers and show the general features of the discourse marker. The third part points out theconversion which between the four Zaishuo (再说) exist in our conceptual system ofconceptual domains.The third chapter aims to illustrate the pragmatic functions of Zaishuo (再说).The pragmatic functions are mainly embodied in the textual function andinterpersonal function. The textual function is mainly manifested in the work and theprogressive supplement, and the interpersonal function is mainly reflected throughstrengthening, prompting and guiding and strengthening the subjectivity of language.The fourth chapter is the lexicalizatihon, grammaticalization, and the generationof discourse marker function of Zaishuo (再说). This chapter provides an overview ofthe existing literature for the research on lexicalization and grammaticalization of it,and points out my own opinion that Zaishuo (再说) has been experiences thelexicalization and grammaticalization for a long time and is still in the process of it inModern Chinese. The function of discourse marker will be produced while Zaishuo(再说) does not express a certain truth conditional semantics in the sentence, andbeing deleted does not affect the sentence semantics expression.The fifth chapter says the second language learners’ error analysis on Zaishuo(再说). This chapter consists of four parts: investigation on the second language learners’using of Zaishuo(再说), the types of errors, the analysis of error and analysis reason,teaching strategy in the second language acquisition and brief summary. Through theinvestigation on the376cases which contains Zaishuo(再说) in HSK dynamiccomposition corpus, we found that the usage of the four forms in the above are used,and the usage and error rate of Zaishuo4(再说4)are very high. The erroris divided into two types: addition and misuse, and mainly concentrated inconjunction misuse. So we summarize the causing of the error of Zaishuo(再说),and propose the teaching strategies which aiming at its’ usage in this paper.The sixth chapter is conclusion. This chapter summarizes the content briefly, andpoints out the deficiency in this paper and the study that may be continued to do.
