Art Design Researching Of War Poster In20^th Century

In the20th century, when IT in media was relatively backward,posters took a dominant position and had an inestimable effect on spreading information in the wars. The outbreak of World War Iprompted war posters border the stage of history. Poster designers joined the war with brush and ink instead of weapons. Their work brought the audience inner shock in the form of visual language, delivering real messages with silent pictures. Abundant posters were posted in public places of each warring country, achieving an agitprop effect. Nowadays, war poster has carried a new trend.Posters, as one of the important visual art forms in the field of graphic design, have been receiving a lot of attention by graphic designer and design theorists. However, few researches have been done on war posters currently. This thesis is going to explore the rich historic connotations and artistic charities contained in war posters, hoping to getmore people understand and touched by that.In this paper, the first chapter of the war poster art made a definition and analysis of the twentieth Century international art environment; second chapter of the twentieth Century Chinese and foreign war posters in different historical stages of the development of art; the third chapter focuses on the twentieth Century war poster design elements and design style;The last chapter talks about future development trend of war posters in peaceful era.
