The" Red Guards " and the "Educated Youth" occupied two important positions in thehistory of the Chinese revolution, creating various fate in the course of Revolution andhistory of literature. From passion in the early course of movement, then to vast and hastyin the medium term, to decadence, solitude and reflection in the end, their background andthought processes have leaved us in-depth reflection space. From the "Red Guard" to the"Educated Youth", we should know how this generation completed these changes andtransitions in identity? What are the differences among the Political background, power ofnarrative and ideology behind these changes? How such differences are reflected in theliterature text or the literature comments? What is the status of such Literary narration inthe history of Chinese modern and contemporary literature? Experience and observe thegrowth path this generation has gone with the People’s Republic of China, investigate theideological essence flowing in their bones, discover historical thread of Chinese YouthMovement, those of which constitute the focus of my paper.
