| The texts for specific purpose often contain lots of long and complicated sentences, of what is a characteristic. Therefore, the analysis and translation of these kinds of sentences are important part. Division and consolidation are two methods often used in translation of difficult long sentences.This report is written according to translation of medicine and cases of digital publishing. For Chinese and English belong to different language families, and from the aspects of grammar and word formation, English is the inflected language, while Chinese is independent language, so methods adopted in English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation are different. When translated the texts of medicine and cases of digital publishing, I used plenty of different kinds of division and combination for making the translation more smooth and accurate to meet the client’s requirements. This report is to analysis and summarize the different kinds of division and combination used in translation of medicine and cases of digital publishing. |
