Study On "Hand" Family Words In Outline Of New HSK Test

This thesis takes "Hand" family words(HFW for short) in Outline of New HSK Test as the object, including compound words of morpheme "hand", monosyllables that indicate the motion of hands and two-syllable compound words that indicate the motion of hands. The thesis uses methods including static and dynamic, description and analysis, combination of quantitative and qualitative,etc. The thesis analyzes HFW from the semantic, syntax and pragmatics aspects and provides scientific and practical suggestions for methods of teaching Chinese as a second language(TCSL) with aims of giving references for TCSL and following researches of of HFW in Outline of New HSK.In the part of semanteme, the thesis gives a definite definition for HFW, discusses the distributions and characters of sememes, explains the route of semantic derivation, and analyzes the word formation.In the part of grammar and usage, the thesis analyzes the entire frequency of HFW in the corpus。Taking the high-frequency HFWs as an example, the thesis discusses the collocation of two words next to HFW, and analyzes of the nature and characteristics of words which are close to hand family verb word on the syntactic position. Then, the thesis analyzes the flexible usage and rhetorical features of HFW.In the part of applied research, the thesis analyzes the overall distribution of HFW in Outline of New HSK Test and international students using of HFW, explores the usage of classified vocabulary according to morpheme and form of word in HFW teaching, gives suggestions to compilation of classified vocabulary teaching materials, explores the usage of morpheme teaching method in HFW teaching, and gives suggestions to teaching principles and teaching plan of HFW.Taking HFW in Outline of New HSK Test as the object is an innovation, which provides a reference research method for other family words in Outline of New HSK Test. At the same time, contacts Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, and puts forward new ideas on vocabulary teaching and the compilation of vocabulary teaching materials, and it also provides some materials for the future study.
