Language is the carrier of culture, and culture is the embodiment of language. OurChinese nation, with a broad civilization, contains vast Culture-loaded terms, whichembody our national personality and reflect the unique social system, geographical feature,folk customs, religious belief and concept of values of Chinese nation. Our task is not onlyto teach Chinese language, but to spread Chinese cultural knowledge, thus Culture-loadedterms with abundant cultural significance become the key point in teaching Chinese tospeakers of other languages.Based on the teaching of Culture-loaded terms, the thesis takes reference of fruits ofscholars inside and abroad and theories of vocabulary, cross-cultural communication andcultural linguistics, to illustrate cultural factors in Chinese teaching. By the way of culturalsemantics, the thesis analyzes definition and classification of Culture-loaded terms, as wellas cultural difference they reflect. Through the above analysis, the thesis furtheremphasizes the important significance of Culture-loaded terms and investigates thefundamental principles and teaching methods, hoping these teaching suggestion couldprovide a reference for Culture-loaded terms in teaching Chinese to speakers of otherlanguages.
