The rotating two-reel coiler is the most advanced cold strip coiling device in the world of rolling industry, it is mainly used for the steel and metallurgy industry and it is mainly used to coil the good rolling strip to rolls for easy transport and storage,sometimes, it can also be used to open the rolls and so on. Based on china first heavy industries independent design of the first rotating two-reel coiler for xin yu iron&steel grop Co., Ltd,in charge of the rotating two-reel coiler operation process in the stage in the cold rolling mill,it need to understand and grasp the overall,because of its structure is complex,the key components and winding speed, coiling tension of a class cold rolling big winding coil device of the the most advanced in the world now, For all the realization of the localization, for all the realization for localization, in its structure, the force and energy parameters, and the key components of the optimization design to the improvement of the research is very necessary, for its subsequent all realize for localization to have the certain value on dynamic characteristics.Based on the china first heavy industries manufacture the first rotating two-reel coiler with independent property right for xin yu iron&steel grop Co., Ltd and the project called"cold-rolling rotating two-reel coiler structure parameter analysis and tension control research", to describe its structure and calculate its force and energy parameters of rotating two-reel coiler, analysis of the influence of the dynamic factors on the coiler,and its operation appeared in the process of failure and the roll out of the finished products with roll defects to analysis and resolution,its expected result is to reduce the fault of the rotating two-reel coiler, improve the quality of cold-rolled sheet winding,enhance market competitiveness.In this paper,the first is to analysis the host structure of the rotating two-reel coiler, and describe the basic structure and its ancillary decevice and so on. there is giving an account of the main types and their advantages and disadvantages,then carried out a detailed analysis of the working principle of the coiler.The final steep is proposed and analysis the coiler prone to failure during operation and solution and the coiler roll out of the finished product main defect analysis and solution.Secondly,analysis the main force and energy parameters and carry on the determination and calculation for the rotating two-reel coiler,the main work is choosing and calcuating the coiling tension and the calculation of the loss of tension,and it is also main structural parameters for the coiler mandrel of calculation and setting,its main to define the mandrel diameter, the length of the mandrel,the equivalent radius of the mandrel and calculate the radial stress,the final is the the transmission power of the transmission mechanism of the mandrel calculation and selection of the motor. Finally,by using the FEA software ANSYS analysis and optimize and improve the key components of the coiler,its mainly to check intensity of the mandrel axis and the modal analysis to get some order natural frequency and vibration mode shapes,so as to the critical speed and frequency analyzed, to make reasonable structural design of the roll axis so that it can avoid the resonance frequency,it provides a strong theoretical basis and thoughts for the this follow-up to optimize and improve the design of the mandrel axis.Finally,it is to analysis and improve the structure of the mandrel and it is critical component segment which before and after improvement of the finite element analysis.
