With the development of science and technology, CNC machine tends to be swifter, more delicate and more flexible. Because the static and dynamic speciality of spindle is the primary influencing factor to precision of CNC machine, application of FEM software to design of CNC machine is helpful to enhance its efficiency. The spindle system was analyzed by way of ANSYS software, including:(1) Design of the spindle system of TH6363machine toolUnder the circumstances that the object of design of spindle system has been assured, material of spindle was choosed and its performance parameter was determined. The kinds of bearings and the way of their pretension were also choosed. Meanwhile, the way of lubrication and encapsulation of spindle was carefully designed. Finally, the draft of spindle system was drawn.(2) FEA analysis of the spindle of TH6363machine tool based on ANSYS sorftwareThe FEM model of spindle was created by APDL. Then the FEM model of spindle system was created, using multi-point constraint to simulate supporting of bearing. Next, the static analysis of spindle system was conducted. The modal analysis of spindle system was also conducted by way of Lanczos method to acquire its inherent frequence and mode of vibration. The response and displacement nephogram of spindle system attained with the help of superposition of mode of vibration will do good to improve its structure.(3) The optimization of design of the spindle of TH6363machine toolThe results of analysis were studied to find out defects of design of the spindle. In order to improve the performance of the spindle, optimization of its structure was conducted using APDL language. Finally, The optimized span of bearing was acquired with good static and dynamic performance of the spindle.
