Ultra-high molecular weight poly-α-alkene is excellent oil drag reduction agent, can reduce the turbulent fluid friction. Poly-α-alkene is generally viscous at room temperature elastic lumps. In order to facilitate the transportation and use, we should take on the poly-α-alkene post processing, and prepare it into a suspension state. As a DRAα-poly alkene was widely used inland, but the research on DRA in china was still in the synthesize and quality evaluation field, and the way to separatingα-polyalkene is still a problem.In this thesis we briefly reviewed the drag reduction agent, mainly including:the development of DRA at home and abroad, the Mechanism、classification and influencing factors of DRA, the synthesize of theα-poly alkene and the treatment for partition theα-poly alkene.Most reportation in the literature can be seen at home and abroad are about non-water-based DRA suspension. Water-based DRA suspension suspended is more difficult to research, and the studies also have not been reported.This paper was mainly about the preliminary study of water-based DRA suspension. The best Scheme:density regulator EM3, emulsifier TS2 compound, T:S mass ratio 3:1; emulsion stabilizer AH3, dispersant POH, suspension solvent Sc, New complex additives 10.0~13.0%, poly-α-alkene more than 20%. Preparation preparation technology: concentrated emulsion,emulsifying time 3min, emulsification temperature (70±2℃), stirring time 15~20min.Respectively, the stability of three suspensions SA, SB and SC were investigated at room temperature(25℃), the high temperature and low temperature environment, as well as the suspension stability during recovery process to normal temperature, and have a comparison. The stability of three suspensions as following:SA<SB<SC. Respectively, stable temperature range is:7~50℃,7~55℃,7~60℃.
