Recently, hydraulic technology is paid more and more attention with its broad application in industry, project and war industry fields. Especially, in war industry, hydraulic drive is attached much importance in some fields of aviation and spaceflight, robot study, improving weapon mobility, tracking quickly and exactly due to characteristics of quick response, high precision and big ratio of power and weight. In order to keep ahead in this field, each martial power country pays much fund emulatively to develop research on new hydraulic technology, which makes much progress for this technology.With the development of modern industry, much demands for environments-protecting and energy-saving is necessary, so advanced technology need is put forward. Efficiency must be improved to achieve the aim to energy-saving and environment-protecting except solving leakage and longevity problems. Proportional pump control technology can satisfy needs above, and adapt to complex system of multi-flow and multi-pressure, which can satisfy mobility need for ground radar better.This paper introduces a hydraulic drive system division of a radar and principles of design, development and working principle of the pump control technology, the valve control technology and working principle, pump control and valve control system simulation analysis and experimental comparison, pump control technology is applicationed in the radar system, solve a complex hydraulic system is easy to heat and work is not reliable.
