Bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer was derived and developed from bucketwheel excavator, it is a new type of high efficiency continuous loading andunloading equipment. It was widely used in steelmills, docks, building materials, non-ferrous metal, chemical industry, powerplant and other departments to homogenize raw material. With the continuousdevelopment of blending reclaimer, foreign mines and terminal also used bridgetype blending reclaimer for iron ore homogenization processing, in order toimprove the added value of iron ore. According to this problem,Based on the analysis of bucketwheel reclaimer Picking process,Put forward a kind of resistance, which isdifferent from traditional average mining algorithm,obtained that diggingresistance in the process of reclaiming was the wavy change,rather than a fixedvalue。Then set up the bucket wheel model in Solidworks software, Imported itto ANSYS Workbench software and analyze the friction between the wheel andrail, To analyze the cause of friction appear wavy and Propose solutions. For thecase finite element analysis was carried out on the structure, aims at solving theproblem of frequently rail damage, making a design more reasonable and highservice life of the bucket wheel institutions.
