Investigation purposeIn this paper, according to the questionaires to Eczema patients and the medical record of them, incidence rate, clinical manifestation and treatment experience are summarized so as to prevent and treat Eczema better.Investigation respondentsEczema patients of dermatological department Guang An Men Hospital form Sept.2011to Mar.2012.Investigation methodQuestionnaires are designed and then distributed to Eczema patients. Medical records are also collected. The questionnaire form includes:(1) diagnosis and syndrome;(2) general information:name, sex, age, address, occupation, course of the disease, season, etiology, family history and anamnesis;(3) clinical manifestation:invasive sites, skin lesion, conscious feeling, EASI score, pruritus score, concomitant symptom, lesion area, tongue;(4)allergen;(5)clinical medication;(6) effect on patients’work, family, financial condition and psychology.Investigation resultEczema affects men and women alike. The age of patients is widely distributed between0.58and91and average is44.89±20.94. The course of the disease is fugitive and the value is2days for minimum,60years for maximum and5.17±8.50years for average. The disease onsets capriciously and tend to be chronic.The patients’occupations are various, so occupation factor shows no influence in Eczema.The peak of the incidence is winter and the disease often relapsed in summer.Eczema affects any locations and appears as red spots, papula and exudation. The concomitant symptoms are pruritus, thirst, dark urine and insomnia. The mean EASI score is12.11±8.98and the mean pruritus score is5.23±3.13.20.12%patients have similar family histories whose courses of disease are longer and suffer an itch more intensely. These patients’diseases are often relapse.77.30%patients claim that various inciting factors are exist and the major isThe main concomitant symptoms are allergic rhinitis, hand-foot tinea, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus. The patients with diabetes mellitus have large skin lesions and are in serious condition.95.24%patients are also allergy people. The common allergies are mite, seafood, mould and pollen.Eczema affects patients’psychology work and daily life more than their financial condition.The therapeutic method of Eczema is based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory of syndrome differentiation. Drugs for external use are applied depend on the conditions of skin lesions with antihistaminics, glucocorticoid and Nonspecific desensitization drugs as supplement. Antibiotics are necessary for the Infected patients.
