Background:The occupational safety and health work is focused on people’s health, based on the reduction of occupational hazards; it is to protect the lives, health and safety of workers. Good, safe, healthy, comfortable occupational working environment for all workers to enjoy is the concrete embodiment of building a harmonious society. But in China, because of the reformation and opening, rapid modernization and industrialization turn our country to be a real world factory, from the number of people exposed to occupational hazards, the cumulative number of occupational diseases, occupational number of patients died and new discoveries such as the absolute number of patients in various ways, occupational hazards in China have become one of the most serious. City Z is a very well developed industrial city, large enterprises and small and medium factories everywhere, with several international and domestic well-known large-scale factory industry and energy supply enterprises, many workers exposed to occupational hazards make occupational health problems is very important and prominent. In order to establish this thesis city Z occupational hazard monitoring, investigation, analysis and research systems, improve the city’s occupational disease prevention and control city Z proposed strategies and recommendations for the proper handling of occupational safety, for the maintenance and protection of workers health and legal equity, stability, social atmosphere, to promote economic development, is of great significance.Methods:In this thesis, theoretical and empirical analysis of the experimental method. Theoretical study, including occupational safety and occupational-related theoretical research, this paper occupational epidemiology and medical statistics research in the field; empirical analysis of major occupational hazards of the city is city Z for the sample exposed people, in different types of research visits to city Z, Scale the enterprise, contact medical institutions, health supervision Administration departments, received nearly ten years of occupational diseases related data, the Technical requirements by health statistics, and epidemiology of the analytical method, and application of SPSS software, etc. statistics mathematical and physical analysis software to find city Z occupational safety problems, and then put forward countermeasures and suggestions.Results:City Z in recent years, the total number of occupational diseases has increased, but the annual mortality rate of occupational diseases of workers has declined. Occupational safety and health service system achieved initial success, a stronger sense of professional protection have been appeared; However basic occupational diseases can be based compensation and care.Conclusion:City Z over the past decade working in occupational health and safety has made some achievements, not only to a certain extent of occupational diseases under control and treatment, but also formed a set of their way for city Z to open the prevention of occupational diseases a new situation. However, as changes in corporate management mechanism and the market economy and other factors, city Z occupational disease prevention and control of the city there are still some problems and difficulties. In this thesis, extensive investigations, collect and collate data city Z of occupational disease based on the combination of survey data on the situation of occupational hazards in city Z, quantitative analysis and assessment, from the government, medical institutions, businesses and city employees and other aspects analysis of city Z occupational disease prevention and control problems, and then give forward countermeasures and suggestions to the Government and the relevant departments for reference, in order to improve the government’s ability to manage public health events.
