This thesis of iconography and artistic phenomenon as a theoretical basis for the review ofChinese and foreign art history research methods, combined with their own oil painting practice,through the analysis of typical artistic style and outstanding oil paintings, contemporary culturalcontext the creation of the Western image painting style and context. This thesis describes the roleof cultural memory image painting language selection and Construction, and to study thepresentation of image painting language in the country.Described focus of this master’s thesis, is typical of creative language with characteristicswith the domestic image painting context to analysis of image painting.
