Thailand's Three Sets Of Primary Chinese Textbooks Grammar Project Selection And Layout Study

This article chooses three set of study material which is being usedby Thai University for Chinese initial stage students as the study objects.These three sets of teaching materials are respectively Basic Chinese,Thais Learning Chinese, Chinese Textbook, which composed by Thaiuniversities teachers own, Chinese-Thai experts joint work and mainlandChina. We mainly use the methods of, statistics and so on to inspect theselections and the arrangement of grammar items in these three studymaterials.On the basis of this, this article attempts to propose opinion and thesuggestions for Thai University for composing study materials for Chineseinitial stage students on purpose of providing reference for the Thaidomestic Chinese teaching material’s grammar projects arrangement,promotes deeper research of the Thai primary Chinese study materialsand the further development of the Thai Chinese teaching.This article has carried on the full inspection to the selection and thearrangement of grammar items in these three study materials fromseveral aspects: grammar items’ quantity, ABCD four level’s grammaritems’ selection, the characteristic as well as the distribution of grammaritems’ arrangement in these three sets of study material Speaking ofthe average number of grammar items’ selection, some study materialsoffers less while others offer relatively more in each class. From theaverage quantity of grammar items in each class, some study materialshave be under the condition of decreasing gradually, while othershave been increasing. We believed that in each class, grammar items’teaching should be controlled within three or four. If grammars can betaught in the pronunciation stage, the average number of grammaritems and teaching difficulties can be reduced in each class.Three sets of study materials are mainly characterized by A-grade grammar items, what’s worse, their quantity have not reached the"Program" standard. C-grade and D-grade grammar items are carefullyselected in these three sets of study materials, but it has difficultiesregarding initial stages student, it should be better to offer studentsC-grade and D-grade’s grammar items after A-grade and B-gradeitems have been acquired. Since the grammar items collected by"Program" are incomplete and not detailed enough, some of the studymaterials’” other grammar project” has surpassed the standard of the"Program". Therefore, we believed that "Program" needs to makefurther adjustment, revised and consummated.As far as arrangement of grammar items is concerned, sometextbooks settled the expression of related Attribute and AdverbialModifier behind le(了),the others was before le(了) in le(了)-grammarsystem. The Comparative sentences and other special sentences suchas Ba (把) sentence and Be(i被)sentence were ignored and not pickedin books, what’s more, these3kinds of textbook were short of formationorders and the grammar items were in disorder, which affected theperfection of the whole teaching systems and blocked the followingeducation plan. Writing the primary Chinese grammar shouldstrengthen the research of language comparison and practicalmistakes, to make the teaching material fit the objective andrequirements of learners by following the rules of evolutionary, practice,dispersibility and purpose.
