Teaching Chinese as a second language to other language speakers has been growing vigorously while the "Mandarin Fever"---the enthusiasm in learning Chinese has been spreading all over the world. The teachers of the TCSL should improve and complete their knowledge systems of the TCSL teaching method and other linguistic theories. Numerous books and academic papers involving the teaching method of TCSL and the games of the TCSL classes have been published until now. After consulting those books and papers, I have learned something about the games of the TCSL class and the helping role the games played. This article mainly explains the roles of the game playing in two respects which have the close relationship with the communication, that is, the listening skill and speaking skill of the four language skills which includes the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. In this case, we can meet the demand of the foreign students’Chinese learning. I have divided the games into different degrees from easy degree to the hard one, from the knowledge learning games to the interesting one. Besides, I have illustrated the details of the games’ process and their effects. We can help the students to improve their learning and speaking skills by classifying and utilizing the games which could improve the quality of the TCSL teaching.
